Weightlifting Engine is a free technology service: a software application that generates Olympic weightlifting training programs through an AI-assisted system, based on the data you provide (profile, goals, training history, session feedback). It is operated by Alessio Quercioli as the platform's data controller (see Privacy Policy for details), not in the capacity of the user's coach, personal trainer, or sports consultant — see point 2.
The service is purely technological: no coaching, personal training, or personalized professional consulting relationship is established between you and the data controller. Programs are generated by a system assisted by an AI language model based on the data you provide (profile, goals, training history, pre- and post-session feedback).
Any pain or discomfort you report is used exclusively as input for the system, to algorithmically modulate volume and intensity or propose warm-up/activation patterns consistent with the reported fatigue level — never for a clinical, sports, or personalized professional evaluation.
Importing the program into your account requires a manual step (copy-paste) by the data controller, for technical and cost reasons — this does not constitute a review, a merit check, or professional oversight of the content generated by the system. The data controller does not assess or guarantee the correctness, safety, or specific suitability of the program for your individual situation.
The app does not provide diagnosis, medical, physiotherapy, or nutritional advice, nor coaching or personal training advice from a professional. The generated training programs are the output of a software system, not health prescriptions or personalized technical evaluations from a coach.
Before starting any resistance training program, especially if you have pre-existing conditions, not-fully-healed injuries, or doubts about your physical fitness, consult a doctor or a licensed healthcare professional.
If you report pain or discomfort in the notes or session feedback, this information is used only as algorithmic input to silently adapt the programming (e.g. proposing activation/mobility exercises, reducing load on a specific movement) — the system will never ask you questions about it, nor explain whether a change is due to reported pain. This is in no case a clinical evaluation, a diagnosis, or medical advice — the system has neither the competence nor the role to provide that, and you will never be asked to detail your health condition.
If you experience acute, persistent, or worsening pain during or after training, stop the activity and consult a healthcare professional before resuming. Resistance training carries intrinsic risks regardless of the quality of the programming: use of the programs generated by the system is entirely at your own responsibility (see also point 6).
Being a free project on free-tier infrastructure (Vercel/Supabase), we do not guarantee absolute service continuity, freedom from interruptions, or freedom from errors. We do our best to keep it reliable, but we do not offer contractual uptime guarantees.
Weightlifting Engine is provided entirely free of charge, with no economic consideration required from the user. The gratuitous nature of the service is a relevant circumstance for assessing the diligence owed by the data controller, in accordance with the general principles of Italian law regarding services rendered without consideration.
· Provide truthful data about your profile (age, weight, experience) — this is needed to correctly calibrate the program; false data may make it unsuitable or risky.
· By using the service, you declare that you are physically fit to perform Olympic weightlifting and resistance training in general, and that you have no medical contraindications not disclosed in your profile or technical notes.
· Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for the actions performed through your account.
· Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or to upload offensive/illegal content in the free notes.
· Acknowledge that the service is a software technology tool and does not replace personalized professional consulting (coach, personal trainer, doctor, physiotherapist).
· Immediately stop the activity in case of acute, persistent, or worsening pain during or after training, and consult a healthcare professional before resuming (see point 3) — this is an obligation of the user, not just a suggestion.
By using the service you acknowledge that resistance training carries intrinsic risks regardless of the quality of the programming, and you fully assume responsibility for the results and consequences of using the programs generated by the system.
To the maximum extent permitted by Italian law, the data controller is not liable for injuries, health damage, or other damages arising from performing the workouts proposed by the system (see point 3), except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence for which the law does not allow the exclusion of liability.
You agree to indemnify and hold the data controller harmless from any third-party claims arising from your use of the service or from your violation of these Terms.
Before taking any legal action, we invite you to contact the data controller at alessio.quercioli@yahoo.it to attempt an amicable resolution of the dispute. This does not in any way prejudice your consumer rights or your ability to subsequently turn to the competent judicial authority.
We may suspend or delete an account in case of violation of these terms or improper use of the service, with notice when reasonably possible.
You can request the deletion of your account and your data at any time by writing to alessio.quercioli@yahoo.it.
These terms may be updated; the date at the top indicates the last revision. Continued use of the service after a change implies acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you qualify as a consumer, the competent court for any dispute is that of the place where you reside or have elected domicile, in accordance with the mandatory protective rules set out in the Italian Consumer Code.
